چکیده

Configuration interaction (CI) methods are the method of choice for the determination of wave functions for complex atomic systems from which a variety of atomic properties may be computed. When applied to highly ionized atoms, where few, if any, energy levels from observed wavelengths are available, the question arises as to how a calculation may be evaluated. Many different codes are available for such calculations. Agreement between the results from different codes in itself is not a check on accuracy, but may be due to a similarity in the computational procedures. This paper reviews basic theory, which, when applied in a systematic manner, can be the basis for the evaluation of accuracy. Results will be illustrated in the study of 4s4p (odd) and 4s4p4d (even) levels in W and the transitions between them.

Selective Binding of Cyclic Nanopeptide with Halides and Ion Pairs; a DFT-D3 Study

In this article, theoretical studies on the selective complexation of the halide ions (F¯, Cl¯ and Br¯) and ion pairs (Na+F¯, Na+Cl¯ and Na+Br¯) with the cyclic nano-hexapeptide (CP) composed of L-proline have been performed in the gas phase. In order to calculate the dispersion interaction energies of the CP and ions, DFT-D3 calculations at the M05-2X-D3/6-31G(d) level was employed. Based on t...

شبیه سازی سطح (100) شبکه fcc پلاتین و طلا به روش مونت-کارلو

In this work, the (100) surface of Au and Pts face centered cubic lattice, has been simulated in Monte-Carlo method, using a 486-DX2 computer. The potential equation that was used for the interaction among atoms in the metal surfaces is called Sutton and Chen potential. This potential is introduced for the interaction of floating nuclei in the electron sea, and attractive term is a many body ...
